Slow Flower of The Month
- Scientific Name :

Zinnia is native to the dry grassland of Mexico, flowering in a variety of bright colors. Their flowering season starts from early summer to late autumn, which is comparably long and its Japanese name is taken from that characteristic.
The flowers open and close in sync with the amount of sun light, where they open when the sun is up and shining, and they close when the sun is hidden.
They show off their vivid pop colors in the variation of red, pink, orange and yellow, allowing for strong association with the bright Caribbean sun where they are native to.
Their flower colors become more vibrant as autumn closes in, and they will be at its best in the coming months.
